WA Small Business Day Sundowner

On Friday October 27, ProcessWorx celebrated WA Small Business Day with its clients and networks to help support and raise awareness of WA small businesses.

Small business owners and employees enjoyed drinks and nibbles whilst chatting with one another and the ProcessWorx team, celebrating what makes WA small businesses so great.

Small businesses make up an important part of WA’s economy and should continue to be acknowledged and supported. Some interesting facts about WA small businesses include:

  • 97% of all privately owned businesses in WA are small businesses
  • There are more than 210,000 small businesses in Western Australia
  • Nearly half of all jobs created in WA, are created by the small business sector
  • Small businesses account for nearly one-half of private sector industry employment
  • Small businesses make up 43% of all goods exporters
