Managing Social Media

How to successfully manage the challenges of social media in the workplace.

This month ProcessWorx delivered the first of a series of workshops designed to help manages with the ongoing challenges of the modern workplace.

Our first session was on Social Media in the Workplace. During the session we reviewed a number of recent case studies and addressed some of the common pitfalls associated with social media including:

  • Loss of productivity due to social media distractions
  • Increased opportunity for discrimination, harassment and bullying
  • Damage to business reputation

As a group we discussed the best way to handle these issues and prevent them from happening in the future.

The attendees all received a Social Media pack which included a Social Media Policy.

The talks were very well received by all the participants. I have included some of their feedback from the session:
“Went really well. I feel empowered to take more action.”
“Overall content was very useful”
“I thought it was all very informative and interesting, enjoyed the case studies and examples”
“It was all extremely beneficial.”

ProcessWorx will be running these workshops regularly – contact us now if you are interested.
